At Bedford Chiropractic & effective Rehabilitation we believe that the healthiest approach to alleviating our patient’s aches and pain is through non-invasive conservative treatment methods. However, for some of our patients invasive approaches such as trigger point injections or cortisone injections along with muscle relaxers are also provided so that they can get over their aches and pains in the shortest time possible.

These injections help patients better tolerate the physical rehabilitation therapies and therefore able to recover from their injuries sooner than they would otherwise.

Osteoarthritic Knee Injections

We know how important it is for patients to have their freedom in walking where they want to go and doing things on their own as much as possible. However, when a patient’s knee osteoarthritis is advanced enough or aggravated enough, it becomes very painful and challenging just to stand up and walk a few steps. This is why we provide our patient’s the option of Hyaluronic injections or Synvisc injections to help alleviate their aches and pains and improve their ability to walk.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections

Another method for improving patients aches and pain as well as helping them with the symptoms of osteoarthritis is to give them a PRP injection. PRP therapy uses injections of a concentration of a patient’s own platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints.
